BRISIBE BAGS ROTARY INT’L AWARD, HAILS ROTARY CLUB AS BREEDING GROUND FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The Chief of Staff to the Delta state Government and former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Tam Brisibe, has described Rotary International as a breeding ground for leadership development.

Hon. Brisibe, who bagged an award from Rotary International Club, Asaba, District 9140 Nigeria on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at the investiture ceremony of Rt. Peter Itawansa as the new President of the Asaba Club, noted that the, “Rotary International Club has a noble objective of bringing together business builders and professionals for humanitarian services who uphold the highest ethical standard in their vocation.”

Brisibe, a former Chairman, House of Representatives committee on Petroleum Resources Downstream, Upstream and co-sponsor of the Local Content Bill in the oil industry among others, assured that the Delta state government’s SMART agenda is a sure bet for sustainable development with the greatest happiness of the greatest number.

The Delta State Chief of Staff, who was represented at the occasion by Dr. Tony Nwokolobia, advised the newly inaugurated President for 2015/2016 Rotarian year, Rtn. Peter Itawansa (PHF) to continue to propagate the ideals, tenets and the philosophy which Rotary International Club represents.

While thanking the Rotary International Club for the singular recognition, Nwokolobia recalled that the award recipient, Hon. Tam Brisibe, being amongst the first political appointees of Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, underscored the sterling attributes of Hon. Brisbe as a man who is committed to humanity and prepared to serve to the best of his capabilities.
