NWAOBI FLAGS OFF CHARITY PROGRAM FOR INDIGENT PERSONS IN ANIOCHA NORTH

NWA2Honourable Member representing Aniocha North State Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi will on Monday 27th June, 2016, flag-off a Charity Program for Indigent Persons in the Constituency.

The venue for the ceremony is the Issele-Uku Palace ground, Issele-uku beginning from 11 am.

Over two hundred (200) indigent Persons within the seventeen communities in the Constituency will benefit monthly from the program throughout the period of the tenure of Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi as the member representing Aniocha North at the Delta State House of Assembly.

The Charity program is in line with his promise during his official inauguration that his entire salary (Basic/Allowances) for the period as the member representing Aniocha North at the state House would be channeled towards the feeding of indigent persons who could not afford three square meals a day.

The program is in three categories; A,B and C where an average of 2 persons each from the seventeen communities will benefit in category A while at least 5 persons each from the various towns within the Constituency will be beneficiaries in Category B with an average of 8 indigent persons from each of the 10 wards in the constituency benefitting in category C.

The categories are geared towards ensuring that the charity program cuts across the various communities in the constituency, irrespective of political affiliations in line with what the Honourable Member has being doing before he became the representative of the people at the State House of Assembly.

The beneficiaries of this program were carefully and painstakingly drawn from the various communities and the Wards in Aniocha North State Constituency within a period of about four months by a credible Committee headed by a renowned catholic Priest, Monsignor Buchi Aninye with Prince Ibe Ozoma, Dr. Henry Emelue and Mrs. Nkemdilim Ogbechei as members.

Well meaning citizens and residents as well as partners in the Aniocha North Project are expected to grace the occasion.

Among the dignitaries also expected to grace the occasion are the Delta North colleagues of Hon Engr Emeka Nwaobi in the Delta State House Of Assembly as well as state and senatorial party representatives.
