UKAH CONGRATULATES GOV OKOWA AT 57, SAYS OKOWA SEES OPPORTUNITIES WHERE OTHERS SEE CHALLENGES

oko57Delta State governor, Senator  Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa,  has been described as a leader who sees opportunities where others see challenges.

The state Commissioner of Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah, stated this on July 8, 2016, in a statement on behalf of the government and people of the state to commemorate the occasion of the 57th birthday celebration of the Delta State Governor.

Mr.  Ukah stated that Governor Okowa is a leader who empowers others and inspires them to achieve their potentials, adding that with hope in a vision that defines tomorrow based on empowering the people, Governor Okowa is on track to build a Delta State of Prosperity for all.

He reminded the people that Governor Okowa has already inspected and commissioned several projects in different parts of the state as part of activities marking his one year in office and this was a clear testimony that he was poised to deliver on his campaign promises to Deltans.

The Delta Information Commissioner then prayed that God will give the governor good health and the wisdom to continue to pilot the affairs of the state in his avowed determination to deliver the dividends of democracy to all Deltans and appealed for patience from all, as the Delta State government, under the able leadership of Senator Okowa, is poised to ensure that developmental projects are executed in all parts of the state.
