UBULU-UKU CHRISTIANS FORUM ORGANIZES INTERDENOMINATIONAL SERVICE FOR NEW MONARCH

ubulu2In continuation with the post coronation activities following the coronation and presentation of staff of office to HRM Obi Noah Chukwuka Akaeze 1, Obi of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom, the Ubulu-Uku Christians Forum, UCF on Wednesday, 7th of September, 2016, organized a power packed interdenominational service for the king in his palace.

Speaking on the occasion and calling for prayers for the new king, the Bishop of the Anglican Communion, Bishop Justus Mogekwu admonished the young king not to deviate from following the God that his father served before his death. He warned that, like Joash in Chronicles who turned away from the God his father served because of evil counsel; Obi Noah Akaeze should focus on the consistent establishment of the name of the Almighty Jehovah, the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ in his kingdom.

“I know you will not abandon the God of your father. Don’t get discouraged; tribulations will come but remain focused. Your father was murdered, but he remains a victor in death. Like those who killed Jesus suddenly realized they were more wrong in killing the Messiah”, he said.

ubulu3The Anglican head also raised prayer points which the congregation joined him to pray about, including prayers destroying idolatry and evil against community, amongst other requests.

It was a well-attended programme, and the town of Ubulu-Uku was once more agog. The retinue of clergymen itself was a signature which had again sent signals that no one can hold a kingdom as Ubulu-Uku hostage and go scot free.

Those present included the Member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Rt. Hon (Mrs) Onyemaechi Mrakpor, DTHA Members; Hons. Emeka Nwaobi, Tony Elekeokwuri and Angela Nwaka, members of the Obi-in-Council, members of the Ubulu-Uku Development Council (UDC), faith based individuals and groups, well-wishers and friends of the Kingdom and others too numerous to mention.
