The Non-elective convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, held on Saturday August 12, 2017 at the Eagle Square in Abuja has been described as a big success, given the calibre and number of politicians from across the country that graced the event.
This assessment was made by the Executive Assistant to the Delta state governor on religious Matters, Bishop Greatman Nmalagu, who was one of the attendees of the event, in an interview with news men, even as he added that the convention was clear evidence that the party was fully back to limelight.
“The convention is clear evidence that PDP is fully on board. The huge attendance and happiness expressed by participants from all states across the nation were clearly indicative of the fact that PDP will certainly take over leadership come 2019”, he stated.
According to him PDP is taking over the office of the presidency come 2019 and will come into power with a lasting solution to address the woes and recession affecting every human, economy and security sector in Nigeria, affirming that this is because the party is now loaded with good leadership keys for the best governance Nigeria needs.
“God by His Grace, wants to wipe away the pains and tears from every Nigerian that is why he allowed the party to return in a more vibrant and enlarged manner.
“The great joy of the masses and personalities who attended the conversion attests to the good things that will happen soon in the nation as PDP takes over the presidency and states across the country,” the Cleric enthused.
“PDP went through a learning wilderness and has acquired the formidable skill and knowledge to lead Nigeria out of the recession tormenting her citizens” he concluded.
