The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the nominees selected by President Bola Tinubu for positions on the board and management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
These nominations which had been reviewed by the Committee of the Whole include Chiedu Ebie as the NDDC Board Chairman for Delta State, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku as the Managing Director/CEO representing Bayelsa, and Boma Iyaye as the Executive Director of Finance and Administration from Rivers State.
Other confirmed individuals include Victor Antai as the Executive Director of Projects from Akwa-Ibom, Ifedayo Abegunde as the Executive Director of Corporate Services from Ondo, and Senator Dimaro Denyanbofa as the State Representative for Bayelsa.
There are also Abasi Ndikan Nkono as the State Representative for Akwa Ibom, Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya as the State Representative for Delta, Tony Okocha as the State Representative for Rivers, Hon. Patrick Aisowieren as the State Representative for Edo, Kyrian Uchegbu as the State Representative for Imo, Victor Kolade Akinjo as the State Representative for Ondo, Dimgba Eruba as the State Representative for Abia, and Asu Oku Okang as the State Representative for Cross River.
Furthermore, Hon. Nick Wende has been confirmed as the Zonal Representative for North-Central, Hon. Namdas Abdulrazak as the Zonal Representative for North-East, and Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir as the Zonal Representative for North West.
